The Jazzart charitable trust is a Scottish Charity (SC041483) supporting people from non privileged backgrounds currently living in Scotland by offering financial assistance to pursue educational opportunities in Performing Arts.

Since 1994 the trust has helped nurture students in their foundation and vocational training, many of whom now work with schools and companies worldwide including the prestigious Royal Ballet School- Memphis Ballet.

The Jazzart Trust will consider applications from individuals wishing to attend one off, part time or masterclasses at any reputable centre within the U.K.

We will happily consider financial help for those who can demonstrate a real need and are willing to make a future commitment to support the work of the Jazzart Trust .

About us – Since 1994 The Jazzart Trust has awarded tuition support of over £750,000 to talented young people pursuing a performing arts career.

We aim to provide financial support to people residing in Scotland towards the cost of both part and full time training in singing, dancing and acting/musical theatre.

For over 25 years we have been committed to helping young people to attain their ambitions to perform in all genres of the industry. Our commitment to the international development of young Scottish performers has seen the Jazzart Trust fund training at Alvin Ailey NYC, Steps NYC, Arts Ed London plus many more colleges throughout the U.K. Our focus now is to develop Jazzart Scotland as an international training base within the community.

We understand there are many talented people in Scotland who are not in the financial position to follow their dreams and pursue a costly course of study CDET colleges. The Jazzart Trust is there to assist you to fulfil your potential.

The Jazzart Trust aims to continue this support and increase to access to training opportunities by creating studio and performance facilities of national and international recognition.

We depend on fundraising and donations and pursue sponsorship from all areas of business to develop our commitment to fund those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

Broadening Access to Performing Arts

The Jazzart Trust builds on a commitment to financially support students on part time and full time performing arts courses in Scotland, while working in collaboration with public bodies and other training providers to create new and affordable studio and performing spaces.
