Juniors (P2 – P7/S1)

At this age, it’s all about energy, exploration, and making “best friends for life.” In our Juniors classes, the studio becomes a playground for the imagination where acting, singing, and dancing aren’t just skills—they are superpowers. While your child is busy having the time of their life, they are secretly building the confidence, coordination, and discipline that will serve them in the classroom and beyond. For those looking to track their progress, we offer structured exam opportunities that provide a wonderful sense of achievement. Whether they dream of the big stage or just need a boost in self-esteem, our Juniors program is where they find their voice and their “tribe.”
From Studio to Stage: Professional Excellence
The journey truly comes to life when the house lights go down. Our annual shows and creative projects transform technical training into professional productions, forging independence and leadership. Beyond the studio, we provide elite professional opportunities, including placements in local pantomimes and corporate events. These experiences teach the punctuality, networking, and “real world” confidence that stays with a child long after the final curtain call
Our Disciplines: Skills for Life
Whether they are 3 or 18, our dancers don't just learn steps; they learn how to stand tall, work as a team, and lead with heart.

Ballet: The “gold standard.” Teaches the patience and self-discipline required for academic and personal success.
Street & Hip Hop: A high-energy booster for coordination that encourages students to take risks and find their own “flow.”
Jazz: Fast-paced and athletic, teaching adaptability and the “stage presence” necessary for any aspiring performer.
Tap: Sharpens musicality and timing. It fosters independence, as every student is responsible for their own unique “sound.”
Contemporary & Lyrical: A safe haven for emotional intelligence, building the physical strength to tell stories through movement.
Heels Class (Senior Pro Co): The ultimate lesson in self-assurance and poise, preparing students for the professional world.
Musical Theatre: Our vocal-driven “triple-threat” class that master’s multitasking and the vocal strength to command a room.
Drama: Acting-led sessions that cultivate empathy, public speaking confidence, and a grounded sense of identity.

Dance

The Junior college is the “golden age of discovery,” where students transition from basic coordination to true technical skill. This is where students move from “doing steps” to becoming artists. We offer a range of dance disciplines to suit all

Ballet

Master the essential ballet foundations that make every future dance style look effortless. We focus on discipline and poise, while keeping the journey joyful. RAD exams are encouraged, never a requirement.

Tap

Our Tap classes teach students to find their beat and share it through percussive footwork and high-energy routines. From the first shuffle to advanced rhythms, we focus on building coordination and confidence.

Jazz

Turn every kick and jump into a boost of confidence with our fast-paced Junior Jazz sessions. We focus on technical agility and high-energy personality, helping your child break out of their shell and master the tracks they already love.

Commercial/Lyrical

The best of both worlds with music-video energy moves and the fluid, expressive storytelling of Lyrical dance. Our Juniors find their unique ‘vibe’ while building the technical core and confidence to own the room.

Hip Hop/Street

Find your groove in a high-octane environment that blends authentic street foundations—from locking and popping to house—with the latest hits, where you can transform personality into performance with confidence.

Acro

The ultimate blend of strength and flexibility in a class where the grace of dance meets the power of gymnastics. A high-impact environment to build physical confidence and technical skill, one tumble at a time.

Performing
At Jazzart, we believe the stage is the ultimate classroom for life. Our Performing Arts program is designed to ignite the imagination, whether your child is a natural-born storyteller or a shy soul looking to find their voice. By blending acting, singing, and dancing we create a supportive ensemble where students learn that their ideas have power and their voices deserve to be heard. It’s about more than just hitting the right note or memorizing a script; it’s a journey of building unshakable empathy and social awareness by stepping into someone else’s shoes. Our classes are a fast-paced, creative environment where the collaborative spirit of teamwork meets the quick-thinking creativity of improvisation.

Drama

Our Junior Drama classes are where young storytellers find their footing. We move beyond simple play to focus on the foundations of acting: learning how to use the voice, understand a character’s journey, and tell a story with conviction. Through a mix of monologue work and vocal exercises, students learn how to speak clearly and expressively, building the confidence to stand solo in the spotlight. It is a focused yet supportive environment where “quick-thinking” creativity meets disciplined rehearsal. As our Juniors develop their craft, showcase and celebrate their growing technical skills in a rewarding, structured way.

Musical Theatre

Our Junior Musical Theatre classes are the ultimate introduction to the “Triple Threat” world. Here, we bridge the gap between acting, singing, and dancing, teaching students how to story through song and movement. We focus on building a strong vocal foundation and learning how to maintain character while performing high-energy routines. It’s a vibrant, collaborative space where Juniors learn the importance of the “ensemble”—supporting their castmates and working together to create something spectacular. As they find their rhythm on stage, it’s wonderful to celebrate their progress across all three disciplines.
