The college’s primary aim is to produce “industry-ready graduates”, as demonstrated by the impressive proportion of alumni who move directly into professional roles. At Jazzart, we take pride in maintaining one of the highest rates of graduate employment in the sector. Students gain invaluable practical experience throughout their studies by performing in touring pantomimes, musicals, and corporate events, enabling them to assemble a professional CV and showreel before graduation. Our wide-reaching network, encompassing guest tutors, consultants, and agencies both nationally and internationally, frequently results in students securing professional contracts even before completing their course.

High Standard of Training and Results

Jazzart has established itself as an SQA Centre of Excellence for over ten years, offering West End calibre training in Scotland with accredited HNC and HND qualifications. The curriculum is meticulously designed to develop “triple threat” performers, skilled in acting, singing, and dancing. Training is rigorous and comprehensive, ensuring students master technical and performance skills to the highest standards. Notably, our students have achieved a 100% ‘A’ pass rate in all technical study modules, with 80% of candidates attaining an ‘A’ grade in the overall SQA HNC/HND examination, reflecting the exceptional quality and results of our programme.

Full-time courses In Musical Theatre & Dance for Commercial Performance → We have achieved 100% A passes in all technical studies, with 80% of candidates gaining an A in the overall exam.

Fair Tuition Fees

Our tuition fees are kept to a minimum but reflect the expertise and calibre of our faculty. It is free of charge to apply and audition for JazzArtUK. Full and Part Scholarships available for those who need them.

JazzartUK Charitable Status

Although Jazzart is currently celebrating its 80th year of performing arts in 2024, it probably surprises most people that JazzartUK is a charity. This was an easy decision for Sheridan the Director in 2011 as the school became a college! 

In 2011, JazzartUK became an SQA provider of Further Education, and in 2014 a centre of excellence for Dance and Musical Theatre with HNC and HND courses in Musical Theatre and Professional Dance. Our graduates have attended in their hundreds, and we are proud and excited to see them continue to perform. 

JazzartUK’s decision to become a charity is to protect against the rising tuition fees associated with private colleges and universities providing performing arts training. JazzartUK ensures that tuition fees are good value, and the training is a West End standard in the heart of Lanarkshire. 

It is important to give back, and the JazzartUK Outreach programme provides students with performing opportunities. Our students have performed as far afield as New York in celebration of Tartan Week, and local theme parks, open days and town centre promotional events. While our HNC and HND Students are included in touring productions for local schools, and many have professional contract opportunities while studying.

Students can find accommodation* options in the local area. 
 
Jazzart in partnership with SOAB offers a selection of stylish and modern accommodation* just a short bus ride away. All accomodation* is en-suite and studio flats are available from £170 per week. 
 
*Students are responsible for organising their own accommodation.

Post Study your Diploma qualification is recognised worldwide. Career opportunities on Stage, TV, Touring, Theme Parks, Crusie lines will be available to you

During your training at Jazzart, Stage opportunities will present itself with Local Authority Panto and our Jazzart Outreach schools programme

Joining us in your infancy does not require you to bring anything

Joining our Seniors and full time students would require previous experience in your chosen discipline

Entry to our College is by Audition. Applications and Auditions are free of charge and available on selected dates each year from Jan to July 

Auditions are an opportunity for you to show off your skills and for Jazzart to see your skill set and opportunity. 

Auditions should be professional but enjoyable and we tend to offer open day|night sessions to keep an inclusive vibe

Jazzart offers foundation courses (NPA & Higher) in both Dance and Musical Theatre

We additionally offer HNC and HND in both Professional Dance Performance and Musical Theatre

Jazzart offers classes from Pre-school to Graduation… 

Jazzart Academy has weekly fun dance classes from 3 to 18 years in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop| Street, Commercial and Acro Trix

Musical Theatre and Drama classes are weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays 

We offer full time classes for HNC and HND study 

Our Foundation Courses are part of your weekly class and do require some home self study|research 

Full time study in our college is 4 days in person study per week. HNC Courses are completed within a Year and HND courses require an additional year of study

3 years to 18 years can attend our fun Academy classes. Monday through Saturday. 

16 years + can attend full time College to attain HNC|HND qualifications
