Pre-School & Early Year

We offer, Fun and fabulous classes for preschool and early years by introducing them to performing arts through dance, music and song. 

Our pre school classes begin from 3 years (2.5 years if already in Nursery) where we encourage they go solo

Learning to perform through play and storytelling for the superstars of tomorrow.

Pre-school from 2.5 years if currently attending nursery, otherwise from 3 years

Junior Academy

P1 – P7: Dance, Drama, Musical Theatre including Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Hip-Hop plus professional performance opportunities through our casting workshops and agency provision. Be part of Jazzart’s Superstar experience.

Vocal based performance training to develop skills, confidence, and friendships with theatrical pizazz

Classes are Wednesdays from 5pm

Drama based, musical performance class, creating relationships, and connections through drama games, movement and role play with a huge splash of fun.

Classes are Saturdays from 9.45am

Integrated multi discipline class, consisting of Tap, Jazz and Ballet for P1+ students.

Ideal first class as it introduces children to all styles of dance in one class

Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays 

Classical Ballet is the foundation for most dance disciplines. It develops and understanding of stance, placement, and balance.

Jazzart presents students for SDTA and RAD vocational examinations to advanced 1 level.

Classes are Tuesdays and Thursdays

Develops flexibility and strength to enable performance with energy, speed, stamina with coordination and control.

Jazzart students will study lyrical, commercial, street/hip Hop and industry Jazz rep to ensure they have the confidence necessary to audition at a professional level

Classes are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Builds a vocabulary of steps, rhythm, and provides a repertoire of combinations to develop competence in different tap styles encourage versatility and a sense of dynamic in performance.

Classes are Tuesdays and  Thursdays

Through the development of exercises to enhance core strength, flexibility and stamina, students should improve movement and develop trix and tumbles to a cogent standard.

Classes are Mondays from 5pm

A fun, less formal dance crew with energetic movements that was developed from the streets and nightclubs. 

Senior Academy

S1 plus: Dance, Drama, Musical Theatre including Jazz, Ballet, Tap, Lyrical, Hip-Hop plus professional performance opportunities through our casting workshops and agency provision. ProCo for tomorrows professional. Graded vocational examinations plus SQA /UCAS credits.

Advanced Musical Theatre for S2 and above focuses on fun classes and vocational and foundation courses. 

NPA 6 Musical Theatre is valuable UCAS credit scores for further education

Seniors post S1 are encouraged to continue with Advanced Musical Theatre and consider foundational courses including NPA 6

Senior ballet continues examinations to advanced level 1 

SQA Higher Dance qualifications are encouraged for our gifted seniors

SQA Accredited Courses

Jazzart students can build UCAS credits from S1 – the ideal way to build credits to assist your further education/career ambitions.

A course to inspire, yet challenge.

Our students will have the opportunity to create, appreciate and perform dance. Building knowledge and understanding of dance techniques and choreographic skills to inform practice, and develop skills in appreciating and evaluating dance practice and theatre arts.

Students will learn how to use dance techniques and choreography creatively to enhance performance.

A course to development practical skills with the enhanced
understanding of a triple discipline where performers are equally skilled in
acting, singing and dance.


This qualification has the potential to improve progression to
further education and gaining valuable skills to maintain a performing career in Musical Theatre.
