Meet the Team

Stuart Fleming is a Musical Director, Vocal Coach, Arranger and Composer. He gained a first-class honours degree in classical piano from Edinburgh Napier University and went on to further his studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS), where he obtained a master’s degree in Musical Direction. Stuart has had a varied career in theatre and session work; both in the UK and abroad. As Musical Director, Stuart has worked supporting artists performing in well known musical TV shows. He has worked extensively in Scottish Theatre, as Musical Director for pantomime. Currently, Stuart is writing original material with Hilary Brooks (Musical Director and Arranger - Sunshine on Leith.) and is also creating new work with Insideout Theatre

Caroline began dancing at the age of 3. During her college years she attained her Advanced 2 Royal Academy of Dance and ISTD Advanced 2 in ballet and Jazz, also her ISTD teachers' qualification. On leaving college Caroline travelled through Asia, Europe and the Middle East working for 13 years as a dancer, singer, dance captain and finally a company manager in many different companies. Deciding it was time to come home, she studied in London with the Royal Academy of Dance to gain her teacher's qualification. Her teaching career spans 18 years to date, working with children, adults and full-time education. Caroline wants to see her students succeed, be proud of their accomplishments and enjoy all of the hard work and dedication they put into their classes.

Gavin is a performer, choreographer and lecturer of dance. He has trained and worked professionally in contemporary, jazz, ballet and musical theatre. Gavin studied with WCS, RAD and The Scottish School of Contemporary Dance – where he received his BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance. Gavin has performed in live theatre, film, tv and music videos, some credits include Sunshine on Leith (movie), BBC/Cbeebies, Apple Music, Tramway and more… Gavin teaches vastly across the central belt and runs his own youth dance company.

Caroline is an actor, movement artist and facilitator from South Lanarkshire. She trained at JazzartUk and Steps on Broadway, New York before completing her honours degree studies in Acting and Creative Production. Credits Include: Film and TV; Outlander (Starz, Sony), CRIME (ITV, Buccaneer Media), Glasgow Town (Blazing Griffin) Theatre; And. And. And. (Traverse Theatre, Strange Town) The Funeral Club / Leopards Ate My Face (Play, Pie, Pint), A Daurk Maiter (The Citizens Theatre), Aladdin / Sleeping Beauty (The Alhambra Theatre), Oliver Twist (UK Tour) Caroline is the Movement Director and associate producer for SKELF Theatre Co. Recent work ‘The Seagull Not That One’ was featured at the Prague Fringe Festival. Last year Caroline received mentorship as the movement trainee on The National Theatre of Scotland’s production of ‘Kidnapped’.

I trained professionally at Performers College and graduated in 2021 with BA Hons in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. Whilst training I completed ISTD teacher training in both Tap and Ballet. Discovering a love for teaching since graduating, I have since achieved a BATD teaching qualification in Freestyle and SDTA qualifications in Stage. I have also performed with Crossroads in Pantomime Productions. In 2023 I finished runner up in Big Brother and I am now working professionally in Television and Radio Teaching the stars of JazzArt alongside career opportunities is something I feel passionate about and my working with the next generation of performers is so special to me.
